The Denz Premium Optics upgrade for RED\u00ae<\/sup> Compact EVF is a quick and seamless option to enhance the RED Compact EVF and DSMC2 RED EVF (OLED). This ocular attaches to the integrated bayonet mount on the EVF, replacing the standard optics and providing the following enhancements to the EVF<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Higher optical qualities with a sharper image to assist with operating and pulling focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Improved off-axis viewing angles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Increased diopter range of -4 to +3.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • An integrated ocular heater (powered by optional 5-Pin cable) for humid or sub-zero conditions to prevent fogging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • A quick connect eye-cup for easy adjustability and light blocking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    NOTES:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • The RED Compact EVF is sold separately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • When using the RED EVF Mount and RED EVF Extension Arm, a thumbscrew must be replaced by a wing nut (2x included) to enable full motion of the EVF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • If the supply voltage is too high (> 40V), the electronic circuit of the eyecup might be damaged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      WARNING: DO NOT point the RED\u00ae Compact EVF eyepiece at direct sunlight. Continued exposure to direct sunlight can damage the EVF. When the operator is not using the EVF, they must keep the eyepiece pointed away from sunlight.
