The VT800 is a professional headworn microphone with a cardioid polar pattern for close pickup. The cardioid microphone capsule can be optimally aligned to the user, enabling perfect voice reproduction with a low room volume. Precise voice pick-up is possible even at high room volumes. Thanks to the cardioid characteristic, this microphone is also extremely resistant to feedback.

In addition to a clear sound image, the VT800 offers a slightly more robust headband mount than the microphones in the VT-DUPLEX series. Nevertheless, this microphone is light and comfortable to wear and thanks to the flexible gooseneck, the cardioid microphone capsule can be positioned precisely. In addition, the design of the VT800 makes it quick and easy to install, which also benefits inexperienced users. The cable routing via the neck of the wearer allows maximum freedom of movement. The VT800 is also very robust and easy to clean.
