Terms of Delivery

GENERAL INFORMATION

The products sold in the online store are provided by Mediatrade Oy (business ID 0659327-3). We sell products to adult private individuals and businesses in Finland. Prices include VAT. We reserve the right to make changes to the terms of delivery and prices.

ORDERING

Orders made through the online store are placed via the website www.mediatrade.fi using the shopping cart. All order requests are confirmed by email, which includes the order’s price and the products ordered. The order becomes binding for both parties once we have sent you an order confirmation. Receiving the order confirmation requires providing an email address during the ordering process. We use the email address as the primary means of communication. Customers agree to the current terms of delivery with each order.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

We will send an order confirmation via email. This confirmation serves as proof of the acceptance of the order. Save the order confirmation so you can later review the contents of your order. You will also need the order confirmation when contacting our customer service regarding your order.

PAYMENT METHODS

Products are paid for at the time of ordering. The following payment methods are available in the online store: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit (POP), Säästöpankit, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, S-Pankki, and Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Payments are processed through the Paytrail Oyj platform.

PAYMENTS WITH VISA, VISA ELECTRON, OR MASTERCARD

If you wish to pay with Visa, Visa Electron or Mastercard, Mediatrade Oy acts as the marketer of the products and services, and is responsible for delivering the products to the buyer. Paytrail Oyj acts as the payment platform for Visa, Visa Electron, or Mastercard payments, and the transaction is created between the customer and Paytrail Oyj. Paytrail Oyj is also the recipient of the payment. Paytrail Oyj business ID: 2122839-7. For complaints, please contact Mediatrade.

PAYMENT SERVICE PROVIDER

The payment transfer service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (business ID 2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on your bank statement or credit card bill and forwards the payment to the seller. Paytrail Oyj is authorized as a payment institution.

ONLINE BANKING

Online banking payments are processed by Paytrail Oyj (business ID 2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. From the user’s perspective, the service works just like traditional online transactions.

DELIVERY TIME

We process orders on business days between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM once payment has been made. The products we sell are specialty items intended for professional use, and their delivery times vary by product. Delivery times are indicated per product and may also be included in the order confirmation.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

The details and features, system requirements, availability, and any specific conditions of products are described either in the product description or in the order confirmation. The products come with a warranty provided by their manufacturer. Mediatrade does not offer additional warranties or insurance beyond what is specified by the manufacturer.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Mediatrade is not responsible for any indirect damages related to the products or orders, such as loss of profit, device or application malfunctions, or other commercial or financial losses caused by product delays, use, or inability to use the product. Mediatrade is not liable for defects in products if the customer has modified the product themselves. Mediatrade’s maximum liability for all damages is limited to the purchase price of the product. These terms do not limit the statutory rights of consumer customers.

FORCE MAJEURE

We reserve the right to delay deliveries if a force majeure event affects us, the product manufacturer, or any part of the supply chain. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, strikes, boycotts, export and import restrictions, wars, epidemics, fires, floods, and other similar events beyond the control of the party in question.

DELIVERY METHOD AND COSTS

You can choose the delivery method when placing an order. Available delivery methods and their costs are listed in the online store. Online store orders over €500 are delivered free of charge to the nearest Posti service point.

PICKUP FROM STORE / NOUTO VALLILASTA

You can pick up your order from our store during business hours. We will notify you via email or, in some cases, by phone when your order is ready for pickup.

POSTI PACKAGE / POSTIPAKETTI

The order is delivered to the nearest Posti service point/package machine within 2–3 business days. Posti will notify you of the delivery via text message and/or email, provided you have provided this contact information when placing the order.

POSTI EXPRESS PACKAGE / POSTI EXPRESS-PAKETTI

The order is delivered to the delivery address provided upon placing the order, typically during the next business day.

EXCHANGE AND RETURN POLICY

Consumers have a 14-day exchange and return right under Finnish consumer protection law. The exchange and return right applies to unused products purchased through the online store that are in saleable condition and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for the costs of the return/exchange. Returns/exchanges can be made directly at our store or delivered to our address. We do not pick up shipments from Posti service points.

Notify us via email when making a return or exchange at warehouse@mediatrade.fi. Pack your return carefully and include a note indicating whether the shipment involves an exchange or return, along with the following information:

  • Order number
  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Bank account number in IBAN format

We do not accept returns more than 14 days after delivery. Once the return is approved, the funds will be refunded directly to your account after receiving and processing the return. The customer is responsible for postage costs related to the return/exchange. The consumer protection law return right does not apply to products purchased by businesses or products purchased for professional use.

An order does not bind Mediatrade if there is an apparent error in the order confirmation or price (e.g., a decimal error in the data entry) that the customer should have understood. The order also does not bind Mediatrade if the payment or address information you provided is incorrect, you are not authorized to use the payment method, or the payment is not recorded in our account within five (5) business days.

OTHER

Customers must familiarize themselves with the applicable terms of delivery before placing an order. Mediatrade Oy handles all customer data confidentially. Mediatrade Oy commits not to disclose customer data to third parties, except as necessary to fulfill the order. These online store terms also apply, as applicable, to orders made through other sales channels besides the online store.
